We asked 6 questions to the girls to find out their thoughts about Vietnam.

Here is what they said.

1. Which city did you prefer visiting?

Naema: Pu Luong for the rice fields and Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) because it's where mom's grandparents lived long time ago.

Lana: Pu Luong for the rice and playing outside

2. What was your favorite meal?

Naema: Banh kuai (like a delicious pancake in a rice paper) in Hue

Lana: Noodles for breakfast, lunch and dinner! (Lana is really good at using chopsticks now)

3. Which visits did you prefer?

Naema: the Mekong River tour in Ben Tre. We saw a lot of coconut trees! I also liked the tour in Cat Ba (jumping in the water, Monkey island and about everything).

Lana: Ben Tre, I loved riding the bike with Mom and Dad and eating yummy coconut candy (we still have some)

4. Cite some differences with Europe and North America

Naema: traffic is just crazy ! And to cross the streets we have to slalom between cars and motorbikes.

5. What else did you like?

Naema: I liked meeting the school girls at the park in Chau Doc, speaking English with them and finding out what they like. I also liked to drive a toy electric scooter around the park in Chau Doc.

Lana: I loved driving the electric scooter in Chau Doc, it was fun!

6. Would you like to come back?

Naema: Yes because I want to see how it will look like later on.

Lana: In Hanoi, an old lady pulled my hair on the street and it hurt me, so I am not sure I want to go back.
