We asked 6 questions to the girls to find out their thoughts about Thailand.
1. Which city did you prefer visiting?
Naema: Chiang Rai because it was a quiet city, Bangkok because there’s always something to do and Phuket because there’s beaches everywhere.
Lana: I liked Bangkok because we had a swimming pool and because we spent Christmas there.
2. What was your favorite meal?
Naema: I liked Phat Si Ew that we ate twice in a food stall in Bangkok. I also liked the strawberry/blueberry ice cream rolls in Ao Nang.
Lana: I liked the candied chestnuts and chocolate that Monic had brought from France for Christmas.
3. Which visits did you prefer?
Naema: I loved the kids‘ museum in Bangkok. We could play with a lot of toys made out of wood and construction made out of cardboard and kraft paper. We had so much fun that we went twice.
I also liked the White Temple because it was so beautiful.
Lana: I liked visiting the temples and praying like a Buddhist.
I also had a lot of fun at the kids’ museum.
4. Cite some differences with Europe and North America
Naema: There’s food stalls everywhere in the streets.
There were also some malls looking like those we have in North America and France. We rode the sky train which is an aerial metro, like we did in Paris when we saw the Eiffel Tower.
Lana: I am glad there’s no monkeys in France because I didn’t like the feeling of monkeys coming in our house in Koh Lanta.
5. What else did you like?
Naema: I liked spending some time with Monic and Dominique that we joined in Bangkok and travelled with us in Thailand.
I liked riding the scooter with Mom and Domi in Phuket and discovering different beaches.
Lana: I just loved spending time with our friends too. It was fun to have them with us while traveling!
I liked the scooter rides in Phuket, it was really fun! And I liked playing on all the beaches we have been to.
6. Would you like to go back?
Naema: Yes because it was fun to see different things, not like the other countries.
Lana: Yes to play on the beach!
