Mesmerizing Singapore

Writer: Coralie & SalahCoralie & Salah

January 27 to 29, 2020

After a bus ride to Johor Bahru, Malaysia, we had to take 3 different buses with the same ticket to get to Singapore including crossing a 600-meter bridge so packed it took us 45 minutes.

We said good bye to Malaysia and hello to Singapore after being confused all the way through with the clear processes to follow. But we made it.

We liked Singapore a lot. Here is a glimpse of our peregrinations.

Spacepod @Lavender, our hotel had rooms with futuristic-looking awesome pods

Our faces on whipped cream at Selfie Coffee

Buildings' architecture oscillates between colonial and modern, but always with great taste

Did you see the airplane? 😜

Visited Marina Bay Sands

Art is omnipresent

Including an artificial water vortex

Singapore by night is vibrant with colors, music and shows

On our way to Tiong Bahru, we went through Chinatown

And after a long and sweaty walk, we enjoyed delicious pastries at the Tiong Bahru bakery owned by a nice French couple!

Our budget this time did allow us to stay 1.5 days. But we would love to go back to Singapore for a longer period of time because there is a LOT to do there.
